I am currently in the market for a 2014 gs 350 non f sport with navi, blind spot monitor, parking assist, etc... (guessing its the luxury package?)

What did you guys pay out the door? Not looking to lease by the way.

I am in the same boat. Looking to buy a semi-loaded Luxury in the next couple of weeks. I am shocked with the lack of discussion regarding pricing when buying here. As a comparison, I was initially going to buy a BMW 5 series and over on the Bimmer forums, they have the invoice lists directly from BMW. And it is common to buy your BMW from dealers in Florida or California for $500 over invoice and have them shipped directly to your door or to the BMW Performance center in South Carolina. It seems like it is practically down to a science over there. Does no one here share how much they paid outright or does everyone lease here? Am I missing something?

Incidentally, I went to a handful of sites today and (doing the best I could) I picked out the same options for a luxury. I came up with the following..

edmunds.com says for MSRP of $59,945 you should shoot for $57,741
KBB says for MSRP of $60317 shoot for 58567, and invoice is $55713.
cars.com says for MSRP of $59125 shoot for $56214 and invoice is $54954
carsdirect.com says for msrp of $59163 invoice is $52882
usaa autobuying service says for msrp of $60905 they shoot for 58768.

Frankly, all of those recommendations and invoice numbers look high to me, except cars direct's invoice number. Considering all of the bargains people seemed to be getting around Christmas, there is no way I would pay $57k for a car with an MSRP of $59k.

In December, paid 57k even on 61053(give or take 50). For awd, lux pkg, blind spot, park assist, power trunk, premium accessories (net, mats, appliqué, and wheel locks). I did not negotiate hard as that was invoice. I know the dealer has other incentives but don't expect them to work for free.

I have only gone to 1 dealer around my area and they gave me a msrp of 56.4k ish out the door. I am pretty sure I can work my way down to 50k maybe even 48-49k. Since my insurance hasn't settle with the final amount that they will give me for my 2009 is 250, I didn't really try to bargain with them and was just testing the waters.

www.kbb.com and www.edmunds.com. Forgot to list, Navigation system, Cold Weather pkg. Did not get the rear heated seats. I may be off by $100 or so. I got the same quote from 2 dealers so I went with the one closer to home.

I picked up a 2014 about the same equipment - Luxury, Levinson, power trunk and the other normal crap they put on all of them. Listed for $59 something. Bought it $1000 under invoice and no games. Also got a great trade.

The ML system in my opinion is all that great considering the amount of money they charge for it.
