A 5 second Taco Bell spot ended six blissfull months of ad-free Enform Pandora.

What did I do to deserve this?

The App Suite is completely free, you may have just run out of data on your phone :-)

No and that would have nothing to do with ads appearing on Pandora anyway.

I also understood that the App Suite was going to be "complementary" as per the Lexus release of a couple of months ago. Will investigate and report back…another ad this morning. It's AMAZING how intrusive this is after months without them. I'm not planning to get conditioned to it.

Ad-Free Pandora has nothing to do with Enform. In order to obrain ad-free service from Pandora, one must subscribe to their service on a monthly basis.

The Enform App Suite, not to be confused with Pandora, is complimentary now per Lexus.

I have never subscribed to Pandora and I have never heard ads until now, so there's another factor in there somewhere.

I don't think it matters if someone is subscribed to Pandora One. There is no way to tell ENFORM that you are a subscriber so the ads will still come through UNLESS you play Pandora directly without using ENFORM.

If you decide to go this route, the current Pandora hack will prevent ads and disable the skip limits too.

This is true, however there are other ways.

The best way I have managed to achieve this is with

1) Have an iPhone
2) Jailbreak your iphone
3) Download Unlimited Pandora Skip + Ad Free tweak
4) Have a USB cable connected to your iphone
5) Launch Pandora app on iphone, this allows playback via usb.
6) Steering wheel controls still work to skip songs.

The response I got from Lexus confirms this; the appearance of ads has nothing to do with Lexus. Unlike many here I really like the Pandora integration with Enform; now there's no way to use it unless you're willing to put up with ads. Pandora hack, here I come.

Same here, I also prefer the Pandora Enform app over the phone's. BTW, here is the latest from Lexus' site:
Will Pandora be ad-free?
Pandora delivered via Lexus Enform® functions the same as Pandora delivered on your smartphone via its own mobile app. Lexus Enform® App Suite will support standard, ad-supported Pandora and Pandora's "One" subscription.

When? I have no problem with paying for Pandora One, but right now it's not supported by Enform.

I subscribe to Pandora One, and I have not heard any commercials through the Enform Pandora app......yet.
