Tires

I have the 2013 GS with the luxury package and the 18 inch wheels. When I needed new tires I went with the Pirelli P7’s but after having them on for one week I realized that I had a much more of a rough ride and switched back to the Michelin‘s, which have been nothing but amazing and really giving that luxury feel. What the Michelin tires I’m back to having the smooth, floating experience. Discount tire is great.

Another +1 of Michelin AS3+. Rides like on clouds, smooth and quiet.

Fourthed. I have 275/40 and 245/35 on my f-sport. Huge difference in feel compared to the crappy stock tires and rock solid in the rain and cold weather.

I agree with the previous posts that the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ is a solid performing tire, though it's not offered in 235/40R-19 - you'd have to bump slightly up in size to 245/40R-19 to get into this tire model.
There are a lot of solid choices in the 235/40R-19 size to choose from, though. Tires are a product of compromise, so ultimately the right tire model for you will depending on the performance attributes you need the tires deliver for your uses.

My car is stock height and the next larger size AS3+ fits fine. I actually like it better as i cant scratch the rims And it fills out the wheel well nice.

They are only ~.3 inches taller and .7 wider. They look great.
I had rubbing at first on one tire, but that was because Discount tire accidentally put a 245/45 on the front left....oops.

I also have a 15 Luxury with 19 inch wheels. I switched to the AS3+ more than 20K miles ago and still love them. No issues with rubbing even with a fully loaded car. They are a better tire than the stock Michelin Primacy MXM4 that came with the car.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4s are the most amazing tire I have ever had on a car in my life. Could not ask for better performance. Just did a 500-mile road trip last Sunday those tires are made of glue...

The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus (+) is Michelin's current generation all-season performance tire and it can be driven in colder temperatures. It's not produced in 235/40R-19 so perhaps the rep you spoke with was making a suggestion for the Pilot Sport 4S which is summer tire. If that's the case, this tire is not recommended for cold temperatures.
