Need Body Shop Recommendation - Los Angeles Area
Some idiot scratched my hood while my car was parked at The Grove. At first I though my hood caught a rock, but you can see from the pics this is not consistent with a rock hit. Too many lines and scratched all the way down to the bare metal. Maybe I should have ponied up for the clear bra after all. At least my deductible is only $100.
I live in Simi Valley (North/West Los Angeles area). I am asking for recommendations for a body shop that is excellent at matching Lexus paint. The car is Ultra White.

not sure if this can be used to paint it once its sanded down or whatever needs to happen, but they have the original OEM ultra white paint iirc. And off topic but the difference between SFP and ultra white is really minor. I thought there was a significant difference. maybe i need to see one in person to see and compare them

Who would do this to such a beautiful car? This is why I park far away from other cars because usually vandals are usually too lazy to walk that far to damage your car. Even if you had a clear bra if he is determined enough it too will be defeated.

Doesn't look like a vandal, something hit it either while driving or while it was sitting there...
I would have a good detailer or chip/scratch repair guy try and touch that up and wetland it in as best he could and see the result before I had the hood painted. In reality its a pretty small area, but matching white isn't easy and you don't want to create more problems for yourself than you already have.
If you're not happy with the result you can always at that point have the hood repainted...
