When I go and custom order my Gs350 will they pull my credit up and check it? Because I am planning on financing this car and purchase it with a down payment. Or will the pull my credit app up when I pick up my car after delivery to dealership from Japan. Just need to know this info so I can plan on negotiations of interest rate. I have excelent credit and have had a dealer (Acura) told me 6.5% but negotiated that to 1.2% for a new TL.

My credit was run when I gave a down payment. By the time the car came all I had to do was sign the final paperwork.

When I bought my car I asked to custom order mine and I was told I have to pay 50% of what it will cost. But it will take 4 months to get it and I needed a car that time.

WOW Never heard of that one before! Only needed $1000 down for my custom order.

Usually only 1k down, generally refundable, and usually credit is not run until they have the car, unless they doubt you will be able to qualify for the car.

I didn't have to do any of that. 0 Down, ordered the car, came and got it once we got numbers worked out, which was a bit more of a process because they wanted to make more because they ordered the car and I wanted a better deal.
