I have a 13 GS f sport that is starfire pearl and noticed on the lexus website and it seems like this color isn't available for the 2014 gs f sport here:

Does anyone know if starfire pearl is still available for the 2014 f sport?

It's not, that colour was replaced by Ultra White for F-Sport models.

I wonder if the more expensive cost of the tri coat have anything to do with this replacement...

Ultra white replaced the star fire pearl. We wanted the star fire pearl, but ended up with the ultra white. We LOVE the ultra white. The Ultra White is beautiful. Metallic like the star fire pearl, but a bright white. Sparkles in the sun and super bright.

Starfire is such a beautiful color. IMO the ultra white is dull. It's a typical metallic color, there's absolutely no depth to it.

Unfortunately it's not on the F sport for 2014 though. I was pretty disappointed.

I actually like the ultra white better. I like the bright white. However, the star fire pearl is beautiful as well. I'm not disappointed at all with the ultra white. :-)
