Did you mean to write that your insurance discount for having Safety Connect pays for the service?
The service is $139/yr, and my insurance discount is only about $30/yr.
This isn't the first time I've heard about the insurance discount practically paying for the service. I called my insurance and they said the only discount they can offer me is an anti-theft ignition discount, which I have gotten since the 90s.
Nationwide - getting approx. $216/yr discount for safety connect.
I'm with USAA, and my annual premium for comprehensive is about $210, so $139 would be a HUGE discount. Their discount is based on the vehicle locator feature.
