Default december to remember deals?

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of car shopping and have my choices narrowed down to a few cars.. one of which is the gs350 fsport.. Im planning on visiting a local dealer this week to see what deals they have for a 2-3 year lease..

does anyone know the residuals, mf, and December to remember incentives for 2013 models? also 2014 if anyone knows.. thanks in advance and look forward to contributing if the deal goes through!

Default Pittsburgh PA Price

So far the best I have been able to get on a 2014 F-Sport lease is as follows via the December to Rememeber Sales event:

MSRP: $59,742
Down Payment: $3,182.07
Out the door 27 Month lease with Lexus picking up the first payment equals $567.31 a month.

Remember, Pittsburgh is not the market like CA and DC areas so not sure if this is a good/fair price.

Any input would be appreciated... Thanks

Check this thread out. I just purchased my GS350 F-Sport this weekend. The thread outlines all the details of the lease deal. This same deal was offered to me by three different dealers as their bottom line.

We are both in CA, so you should be able to get the same, or even possibly better.

Based on my experience, the best deals right now would be to shoot for $4,500-$5,000 off MSRP as your sales price. I know, you should never go from MSRP--but use this as a general rule of thumb for this particular model/month for this deal right now. So, your sales price would be $54,742...maybe even $55k and consider that good. Use that as the Cap Cost, then take the $1250 lease cash off afterwards as a Cap Cost Reduction and you should be good. All the online numbers show the invoice of the car at like $57k or so...so those must be wrong or there must be so much incentives at Lexus to move vehicles that they aren't listed.

Also, the other variables in the lease are these: Cap Cost Reduction, First Monthly Payment, Refundable Security Deposit, Title/Registration/License Fees, Tax on Cap Cost Reduction, Acquisition Fee, Doc Prep Charge, Tire Fee (CA), DMV Electronic Filing Charge, Tax on Doc Charge.

I'm actually in the NYC area now.. I use to have an IS back in the day and may be coming back to lexus with this gs lease.. ..

From dustin's link, it looks like the 2014 gs for 27mos@10k has a residual of 71% and a money factor of .0006.. also they seem to be offering $1250 lease cash..?

On Edmunds.com it shows $3500 dealer incentive for 2013 gs350's currently but not sure if the lease cash applies to the '13.. anyone have an info on '13?

I am working on quite an epic deal right now so I will let you know if and when it goes through .... rumors are its going to be in the $500 out of pocket, $500/month tax included ballpark. Ofcourse I will spill the beans when it goes through and it becomes a reality.

The amount of Lexus dealerships in your area means a lot on pricing.
CA has many dealers as well as my NYC metro area.

Wow, never realized how many people lease!

Anyways, I think a good way to check deals before going to the dealership is TrueCar. I went to their site like a couple weeks back to see if I could even come close to getting a leftover GS to where I need it and it was like 3K off MSRP. I tried it again last night and now it is 8800 off MSRP! I'm guessing that some deal kicked in for December to Remember!

Below is a 2013 GS 350 AWD with F-Sport, Cold Weather Pkg, Nav (you have to select it), BSM, IPA

Regarding leasing...here is an advantage if you don't hold your car more than 2-3 years: sales tax savings! Consider these figures: purchase price $54,000 with current residual of $42,000 for 27mo lease. With a 9% sales tax rate, if you bought the car, you'd have to pay $4860. For the lease, you only pay tax on the amount used--so on the $12,000 which equals $1080. That is a cost savings of $3780! $140/mth over 27 months! Makes sense to some degree if you like to get a NEW car every 2-3 years. Plus you don't have to worry about selling it.

Is anyone seeing interest rate deals on purchasing a 2014? (not leasing). I typically do not lease due to high mileage. All I am seeing is lease deals on 2013's. I have an F-Sport on it's way to me and wanted to compare rates.

This depends on where you live unfortunately. In MD (and several other states), we pay sales tax on the full value of the car even when leasing. Our sales tax is 6%, so on a $54,000 car we have to pay $3,240 in taxes if we buy or lease.

Actually, theres a sales tax penalty for leasing in these states if anything. When you turn the car in you don't get the benefit of the reduction in overall cost towards sales tax like you do when you trade in. Something to think about when deciding to turn in vs trade in.

Just signed the contract for my '14 GS F-Sport Nebula Grey with Cabernet Interior
Vehicle MSRP was high $58k range

$495 / month
$500 out of pocket
24 month lease with option to extend

Super happy with the deal I negotiated. I think I did very, very well. What do you guys think?
