I have been having issues with the tires rubbing even on a slight dip on the freeway specially when running at about 70 mph . I have a 20x9 front offset 32 tires 245/35/20 and 20x10 rear offset 35 tires 275/30/20. I also installed tanabe nf210 springs. Is it bec of the offset? What can I do to get rid of it?

Get the fenders rolled. I am having my rear fenders rolled tomorrow because I get rubbing on hard turns

thats weird , I do not have that issue at all, same set up here, lots of guys have the same set up. something is not right.

Your rear offset is lower than others running 20x10. That's probably the case. Check the thread by "terrycs" regarding what wheel sizes and tires people have.

@Stew4HD Be careful when you get them rolled because some people flare the fenders when they roll it; basically ruining your car. Only get the metal inside rolled in if you know what I mean.

I will verify that when I take it in. Thanks for the heads up. I really need to check to see where it is rubbing. It might be only the plastic inner well.

he is correct , I didnot realize it that u are running 35 offset, u should had 45 for the rear , thats what u need.

According to all the posts I've read on the topic ... the 285/30/20 on 20x10.5 Vossen set up like yours is kinda hit or miss. Some have said it rubs and other said it didn't so it probably comes down to a matter of tire selection.

Double check with Vossen, but I think their recommended tire size it 275/30/20.

As others have mentioned, if there is rubbing, it is most likely the rears.

The front might rub during a full lock turn and going over a dip or bump. Check your front fender liners to see if there is rubbing when you fully turn the car.

u can run 275 or 285 on the rears with 10.5 but 45 offset and those are concavo wheels correct, u should call them up and ask.

Stew4HD has the +45 10.5" Vossen CV1 with 285's and jvjr9902 has the +35 10" Stance SC5 with 275's. Both are rubbing.

The 285's on the +45 10.5" Vossens are hit or miss if I recall, but a 275 will clear. The 275's on the +35 10" Stance may only be solved by fender rolling or more camber.

according to Vossen they are running Cv1 with 45 offsett and 10.5 and lowered no rubbing issue on one there cars. I had 275 and 45 offset and lowered on Tanabe I had no issue at all, I am going with to uprgade to 10.5 and 285, we shall see.

The solution im thinking would be go back to OEM wheels lowered OR aftermarket wheels but go back to OEM springs.What do you think?

Going back to stock wheels will work for sure, but that kinda defeats your original goal of changing the wheels, right?

Keeping the Stance wheels and going back to factory springs might work, but then that defeats your goal of lowering you car.

Another solution is stretching on tires with a more narrow tread width which effectively changes the tire profile. I'm not a fan of this approach but some people like the stretched look to accommodate wider wheels or wheels that poke out more as in your situation.

If I were in your shoes, I'd try to exchange the wheels for ones with the correct offsets by explaining that they are causing your tires to rub.

Rolling inner fenders will NOT help if your front tires are only rubbing during a full turn. That would indicate the front offset is too aggressive as well for the tire size you are using.

Does your car rub at all in the back? If so, that is where fender rolling will help. But I'll say again that I'm not a fan of fender rolling as a solution.
