I was wondering if anyone was using a Mophie battery case with their iPhones. I bought an extra USB cable to be able to charge and hopefully hook up to the car's USB to listen to tunes via the cable and not bluetooth and also charge my phone. However this isn't the case. I can charge my phone but the car won't see the Iphone, it will just charge my phone. Does this have to do with the limitation of the USB connector for the mophie case. When I use a lighting cable it works fine

I don't have a mophie and use the original USB to charge my phone... It will play music through USB and charge at the same time... However it will not play via Bluetooth while charging...

It is the mophie case. I think the micro usb only passes through power.

okay...ill rephrase... if you plug in your usb to charge the phone the bluetooth will stop working... you will have to change the option on your phone to play via bluetooth through the car each time to make it work. better? ;-)
