Default Possible GS F arriving sooner than expected?

Both Motor Trend and Automobile magazines are reporting that 2014 IS F has been priced, and that it's not a carry over from 2013 model, but based on 3IS platform (aka 4GS platform). Do they know what they're talking about? Could this be true? So quickly?

And does it mean that GS F might be showing up sooner than many of us expected?

I trust CL members will know what's up.

Edit, text from link above:

When the 2014 Lexus IS got a comprehensive makeover for the 250 and 350 models, and the ‘bahn-storming IS F was seemingly passed over for the improvements, the enthusiasts forums lit up with rumors of its demise. But we have reason for hope. In the 2014 pricing updates, Lexus included the IS F, with the MSRP including destination going up from $62,645 including destination to $64,260. The destination charge also inches up from $895 for 2013 to $910 for 2014. Most other Lexus models received a more modest $100 MSRP increase from 2013.
What will that extra $1615 get you? Lexus has not yet released specifics for the 2014 IS F, but chances are it will include many of the upgrades bestowed on the rest of the 2014 IS line, including new styling inside and out, revised suspension calibrations, with a resolute emphasis on making it fun-to-drive. Three-pedal purists may decry the dropping of the six-speed manual option on the IS 250, but the option had a minimal take rate. All 2014 IS models get paddle shifters as a consolation prize. 2014 IS 350 rear-drive models get an eight-speed automatic, something the V-8-powered IS F has had since its introduction in 2008.
The other 2014 IS models didn’t get any major power bumps, and with 416 hp, nobody has accused the IS F of being underpowered, so expect the powertrain to largely carry over, with some possible improvements in calibration and responsiveness. Unfortunately, no official images of the 2014 IS F are available yet, but expect it to share some cues with the 2014 IS F Sport.
