Hi guys,

I recently picked up my 2013 GS 350 F Sport and I'm having some noise problems.
I need your help identifying what's causing this noise. Dealer tried to fix this by tightening the parking brake cables but it's not fixed. Any idea?

I too recently picked up my 2013 GS F-Sport in SoCAL and noticed the same clunking noise. Now I have 950miles on the car and I don't notice it as much I did before. I don't know what happened, but I am also curious to find out what exactly the noise is, so let me know if you find the source of the noise or a solution for this problem.

I'm currently at 1002 miles. This is driving me nuts with my windows down. I will let you know.

If the sound is coming from the rear..Check spare tire and area?.. grasping at straws here

Wow that sounds annoying. I remember another thread with a similar problem and it turned out to be the parking brake shoe. Other than that maybe exhaust rattle?

have ur dealer to check the brake pad, i had the same problem when i 1st time sent it in to fix (5K), it turn out to be wrong brake pads they put on (2012), both models are identical, somehow the updated (2013) one to fix the problem, i will provide the Parts number once I get back to my office on monday.

I brought home 2014 IS 250 loaner today. Nice Car!!

I'm a little shocked to hear this same clicking noise on 2014 IS!!!!

So, is this sound normal??

No I don't believe it is normal. I too had a 2014 IS250 loaner the other day and it made that same sound in the rear.

Not yet. It's still at the dealer. Someone is coming out on Monday to look at it. Who else has this problem?

i did not try to hear the sound from outside the car (as you did) i can hear the sound i have even when i am inside the car.

the car is at the dealer for the last 12 days, and the have given me a ISF!!!! as replacement
until my car is done.(the ISF is an awesome car)

they told me that its getting inspected by team of experts who are from LEXUS regional office, so lets see what will the come up with.
