Default New Mod, but not to the car... Tire Rack

I was sick of my OEM Rims sitting on the floor taking up valuable floor space. As a result, this is what I did:



What do you think? Anyone else doing something like this?

this is actually a good idea. The OEM tires and wheels off my car are stacked in a corner. You may want to get covers to put over them though, I have mine in covers, but I do want to get them off the floor. My daughters bikes are hanging so why not the tires... Have to get one for the garage. Thanx for the idea .

I have the one from Tirerack....it is adjustable and works great.

As long as it's bolted into the studs, that thing should be rock solid. What most people should be concerned with is dry rotting of the tires if they are going to be stored for a long time without use.
