My Asian **** just arrived
LEXUS GS350 Awd Technology package that is Starfire Pearl with Saddletan interior.
We went to pick it up Last Saturday and since that time I've been spending way less time at home (wife). So far so good. I am coming from a previous GS 3rd gen (still keeping the old one).
Here is my take on this car compared to GS3rd gen.
1: Throttle mapping is quite different than previous gen. Throttle by wire delay is ALOT more noticeable unless you drive in Sport or Sport+ mode. I've done many direct comparisons and older GS responds almost instantaneous to throttle input in normal mode this doesn't. Maybe the computer is still learning.
2: I'm still learning to drive with throttle attached to the floor instead of hanging from the top. Feels weird but I'll get used to it
3: New GS gives me a feeling of driving a big car instead of a sports sedan. (Visually, from inside) BUT it is definitely ALOT more sportier in handling and cornering than older model. Really love it.
4: 18 way seats. Obviously Amazing
5: New Ambient lighting system has a very luxuries and calm spa like feel. LOVE IT.
This isn't all of it but that's all I can think of at the moment.
DELIVERY.
Me and my Wife really loved how the dealership presented it to us with a ribbon etc.
Cold drinks, tea, coffee, snacks etc were offered. We got a 1 hour long features and maintenance presentation. Lastly we were given a gift bag with lexus goodies. Below are some of the pictures from that day. More pics to come once I get tints.

Congrats pilot! Must be a long wait for you. Is that what they call in your area? We have similar interior. Still love it everytime I sit in. Looks like your lady needs a new bag to match the color.

Congrats! You will love it.
You'll much prefer the bottom hinged gas pedal, BMW has always used a bottom hinged gas pedal for a reason, once you get used to it you'll hate the hanging pedal. I had been used to the bottom hinged pedal in the LS's and always hated the hanging one in my ES's.
I think its so great they presented it to you like that and gave you some goodies. I had to ask them to put gas in mine...

Congratz... Enjoy your new toy. The swag looks good also... I need those coffee tumblers. I got the other ones and 2 Lexus snuggies, 2 hats, 1 pen and tried to get a Lexus teddy bear for my daughter but they were out. Car looks good BTW, nice color combo.
