Default Only one USB port in the GS350?

Come on Lexus! Would it kill you to add a second USB port?

With that, said. Anyone here use a splitter on their USB port? I would like to be able to control my iPOD and charge my phone at the same time. The cigarette car USB car charges tend to be very slow at charging.

Cool glad to know splitters work. I presume they are all the same as USB is universal. Just have to get one that is low profile.

I only buy USB chargers that plug into ashtrays, so I use the one in the rear and plug multiple devices as needed leaving the one in the console free or used for another phone etc.

Being a geek and wondering the capabilities of the USB port myself, I decided to experiment a bit.

I purchased a Targas four port hub from target, $12.95. What I found out is that you can use all four ports to charge an iDevice. Only one port will connect though and activate the USB function of the audio system.

I also have a 16G thumb drive with music on it. I plugged this in and moved it around also. The same one port will recognize the thumb drive and music folders.

I figure for music from my phone I'd use BT and keep the thumb drive active. Works well for charging my phone and iPad as well as my girls phone.
