Default Stuck Fuel Gauge - GS 350 F Sport

I had a very abrupt near accident on the highway earlier in the week. My GS handled wonderfully and thankfully I avoided a collision. It appears that my fuel gauge got stuck in the process of all this. I had a full tank of gas and after I calmed down I noticed that the gauge moved from full to just above 3/4 full. I have done a decent amount of driving since without filling up and the gauge has not moved. Curious if anyone else has ever experienced this. Any ideas/suggestions/thoughts other than service would be appreciated.

The gauge will move or down depending on gas usage, my gas gauge has gone down a little and after a few it goes back up. Have you tried turn the vehicle off and back on.

Should be under warranty. Take it to the dealer and have them check it out.

Can you help us understand how this caused a very abrupt near accident?

I believe he is saying the abrupt near accident caused the fuel gauge error rather.

I would just fill it up and see if the gauge goes back to full
