Default Fantastic Lease Offer for GS350 F Sport

Hey Guys, my local lexus dealer is currently offering this deal for a lease:

2013GS350
$469mo.36mos.
$2,269due at signing.
Excludes official fees, taxes and dealer charges. No security deposit required. 10,000 mile/yr/limit.
*Available on approved credit to qualified customers through Lexus Financial Services and participating Lexus dealers on a new 2013 GS 350. Not all customers will qualify. Offer based on MSRP of $52,887 including delivery, processing and handling. Monthly payment may vary depending on final price of vehicle & your qualifications. You pay $0.25 per mile over 10,000 per year. See dealer for vehicle and lease program details. Must take delivery by 6/3/2013. This offer is available in TX, OK, LA, AR, MS, TN, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC.

I'm currently looking a gs350 f sport with navigation/premium package and msrp was 57k.I think I can def. haggle down the price to around 53k. If i can get a lease for 469/month with only 2300 down, is this a really good deal? What else do I need to consider before taking up on this offer? This is my first time leasing a vehicle and I really want to have this car. I just want to make sure I dont' get hustled. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can help! Thanks

Oh and do I need to still ask them for the money factor, etc? Thanks

I'm also, going to ask how much it would be to get the 15000 miles per year. What would be a reasonable price to pay per month based on this current lease offer? Thanks

Bear in mind that this does not include taxes. So you will either have to pay it out of pocket or roll into the lease, base tax in AR is 6%, so if your purchase price is $53,000, thats $3,180, plus the $700 acquisition fee, $250 for tags, $300 dealer processing. All of a sudden the $2,269 due at signing is $6,700 if you want to keep that payment. Now, thats a deal on that base car, who knows if the same money factor and residual apply to the F-Sport. F-Sports and Luxury models have lower residuals than the base or Premium car. If you want 15k miles a year the residual is lower still.

This is a $650 or so a month car leased with all the taxes wrapped in and $2,200 out of pocket.

That's a good deal.

I just signed my lease today for a 13 GS350 White/Flaxen Int, AWD, F-Sport, NAV... $59370 MSRP, selling price $57502 (1500 over invoice). I could have pushed for lower but didn't tried since my offer was reasonable and the dealer quickly accepted. They reciprocated by giving me a high offer on my trade-in. We quickly closed the deal.

Remember there's a $2500 rebate
The Residual for 36 months is 57%

You'll learn a lot here:

leaseguide.com

Educate yourself about the entire process before talking with dealer.

Ideally you'll want a MF less than 0.00083 (equivalent interest of of 2%). You can also buy down MF by putting down refundable deposits (multiple security deposits). For each MSD down Lexus usually lower the MF by a certain amount that is standard in the entire US. Negotiate the lowest possible selling price, goal being 9-13% off msrp. Depending on region but I negotiated my msrp of 58k down to 52k.

Residual value is determined by Lexus and the number of miles you drive so no room to negotiate there. Don't get caught up with monthly payment. If you are able to get the lowest MF, lowest selling price, then you have the best lease deal assuming you didn't buy extended warranty or paint protection.

My payment (msrp 58k selling price 52k) is 620 before taxes, and that's with ZERO down, 15k mi per year, 36 months. Total payment after taxes is around 680.

Good luck.

I just leased in California, at the end of April, on a GS F-Sport, MSRP of $58,617...no money down, no money out the door, 24 month lease, 12K miles per year, and negotiated down to $595 per month for 23 payments...this INCLUDES tax...see some of my previous posts for the details...I never put money down on a lease, and always aim for zero out the door...it makes it much, much easier to compare lease deals...and if the car is totaled, I always have a smaller amount of money out.

Is there any down payment associated with this?

this is a good deal.

my lease in dec from so. cal was about the same, BUT, i put 2k down, and its 15k a year.

so looks like right now, compared to dec, you can save an extra 2k on the car.

I always thought you just pay taxes per month. Why would you pay taxes up front on the entire amount of the car? When the lease is up, you will still owe ~40% of that "purchase" price. So by only paying taxes on the portion you use, that means less taxes paid.

Some states require paying tax on the whole amount of negotiated price.Nuts,I know.

Was this offer from Parker Lexus in Little Rock? In 1994, I bought two Lexi from them, both on the same day. I still have one of them.

So where are you finding an F Sport for 52k? All the ones I found were closer to 59k

It depends on the state. AR, like MD, is one of the states where you have to pay taxes on the whole purchase price when you lease unfortunately.
