Default When will 2014 GS 350 and F-Sport be released?

I just realized that the 2013 model has been released since FEB 2012.

I tried to search on google but not much luck, Please anyone help. Torn between getting a 2013 or waiting for 2014

Does anyone know any new changes on 2014 model?

Thanks everyone for your help. Great forum and hope to be an owner soon.

The 2014 GS might be released in September, but maybe not. I assume a higher price tag will be one of the major changes.

Dealer in Canada told me - They will get news internally by the end of MAY and sales will begin Jun/July for the current model. New 2014 will follow soon after.

I am predicting some of the items currently missing in GS will be finally added. like Rear cross traffic alert, Lane Departure, Lane keep assist etc. New improved HUD display like the one in Asian GS300H. So basically it'll all be a software upgrade. Nothing physically will change or be added.

I would definitely wait. I also realized how long the 2013 model year has been. Really hoping for a 8 speed. Anyone who says they don't care.. That's fine. But sounds like you care as do I. If you don't need a car now, probably better to wait. Would suck if you paid $55k then 3 months later a better version came out. Even if there's no 8 speed, you will be able to get the 2013 for less with the 2014 hitting sales floors. And if you get a 2014, the resale will hold up a bit better. Definitely better to wait IMHO. Let's hope for a 3.7 8 speed!

If you can wait until fall, you should wait. It's pretty close. I thought about waiting, but really needed a new car this summer.

May is a big month for Lexus, at least in Canada. There is the introduction of the IS and it will signal the direction the whole Lexus lineup will take. The IS is offering an eight speed transmission but only for RWD models and perhaps restricted to F Sport models. So expect the same approach for the GS. I guess Lexus is telling the truth about their concerns that eight speed trannys are inappropriate for luxury models. That said Lexus has relented and will offer something for the sporting types out there.

Don't wait. Consider this, Lexus is currently giving a $2500 rebate on GS350 lease. In addition, you should be easily negotiate $2500 off for a total of $5000 off. On top of that the lease rates a ridiculously low at .00095 money factor (about 2.2%). Together you'll save $5000+ off of a GS350 vs the new release for 14.

I think i will buy before the end of the month, but if there are any radical changes i wouldnt mind waiting. Does anyone know any ?

How long do you think this body style will be for? what was the prior gs body style for how many years?

all help greatly appreciated.

Im going from Nubula Gray to White now with Cabaret Interior Cannot wait.

Ever consider BLACK? We saw a white and a black yesterday on freeway. All three are luxury model! The OB gives me so much trouble but I still think it's worth it. My wife also agrees the OB looks nicer.

I would like to see an "Auto Hold" feature added to the GS that is currently available by comparable models from BMW and Mercedes. Also want to see an adaptive cruise control with stop and go added to the GS350 (seems to be currently available on the GS450h only). That along with greater availability of HUD without having to special order the vehicle. Oh and yea an 8 speed would seal the deal for me

In reality they don't The RX was released in 2010 and then refreshed for 2013.

The 2014 GS will be visually identical.
