Verizon should be announcing the HTC one this week. I've had every iPhone since the Origional. My battery with Apple always goes down hill midway in the year. Honestly, Apple is the old Microsoft and they habitually spoon feed little small updates to the public and call it revolutionary. It's partly why the android devices are now gaining a foothold on Apple in not just quantity, but more importantly, quality.

Smooth UI, better feature sets, and phone designs that are more impressive. I get not wanting to change because you know something, but I also believe when software becomes problematic as it has with apple over battery time, them this is a huge problem.

Had the Samsung Galaxy S3 and SMS was iffy at best. Got the HTC One and SMS and Email work perfectly in car. In addition to that, battery lasts way longer than the Galaxy- highly recommend the HTC One.

I have the Galaxy S4 and the SMS works perfectly, and every time. I have not had it not working yet. No email though, but I know the email does work on the HTC One. On the HTCs you get to choose if you want to allow SMS and EMail access, on the S4 it's just assumed, you can't turn it on or off. The reason I chose the S4 is HTC gives up on their phones quickly. I had a Sensation, which was their top of the line 2 years ago and they stopped supporting it. The HTC One already comes with one version behind of Android and I was afraid they would quickly give up on it just like they did with the Sensation.
