Tire sizing GS F sport 19" wheels
I'm seeing a 96y load rating and 235/40/19 for the fronts and a 94y load rating for the rear wheels and a 265/35/19.
Why do they have a heavier load rating on the front tires? Engine load and weight balance on the vehicle?
Looking at going to Michelin 245/40/19 w/ 98Y load rating and 275/35/19 100Y rating in the back. Assuming ride will be much stiffer and less sidewall play which I am after. But also want to ensure this negligible difference won't yield any issues in sizing or rubbing. My assumption is no, but I love the Pilot Super Sport tires and until something better comes along, these are all I will run.
Thoughts/Opinions?

I currently have 245/40/19 Michelin Primacy MXM4 94V and the ride is perfect. Yes going to 98Y will be stiffer. I had 98V Michelin Pilot Alpin Pa4 and it picked up more highway vibrations and I hated them so I decreased the pressure to 31 psi all around to compensate for the heavier load rating.

Thank you. I simply don't like going down the highway and making a quick lane change when needed and the whole car feeling as though it's rolling the tire sidewall underneath the rim and then wobbling for a second or two. Feels as though the vehicle is out of control temporarily. But manufacturers like these soft flexible tires that wear quickly and exaggerate the car's comfort level.
