Default Finally! Wald GS Done - Wald/Speedelement/Vossen FTW

Few months ago my friends over at Lexus of Stevens Creek gave me a call and said they wanted me to work on a project for them. after shooting some emails and heading to the dealership a few times, we got down to work.

I was given a Nebula Grey Pearl GS F Sport as a platform to build off.

We had negotiations with a few different vendors and manufactures and since this was a dealer car, we wanted it to represented with the best.

Due to the proximity of Lexus of Stevens Creek and their affiliated body shop Autowest, we decided to work with Speed Element Performance in San Jose as the tuner shop for our modifications.

There is not much body kits out there for the GS yet so I decided to get on the waiting list from Wald International for a full GS bodykit.

After painting was done, we had the kit installed from the Speed Element down the street from the shop.

Mike at Vossen Wheels cut a deal with us and was able to send us some Vossen CV4s in 20" for a great price. We wrapped it with Bridgestone 245/35/20 275/30/20 tires.

A quick detail by the guys from Supreme Detailing was needed:

All in all, looked great, until you notice that it's really 4 wheeling!

no one had suspension parts in stock and originally we wanted to install the RSR coilovers, but by doing so, we would lose function of the OEM adaptive suspension ability on the GS F-Sport. Because this was a Dealership owned car, we want it to reflect the GS's true functions.

After 2 months of waiting, we finally got notified that the Tanabe Springs arrived from Japan.

Tada!

As Taken Today:

Much Better

The Car will be on display at Lexus of Stevens Creek at 3333 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose, CA 95117 next week.

What else should we do to this car? Exhaust?

I believe this is the launch of Lexus of Stevens Creek's new aftermarket platform. Where parts can be added to any car, and financed as a sale. Dont quote me on that, but apparently they mentioned that poeple can purchase this same configuration financed and built as is.

Undo the rear stretch. The car doesn't need it and it makes the car look higher than it actually is.

The drop on the Tanabe springs look lower than some of the others I've seen. Which spring model did you use?

Nice, looks great, I'm thinking of getting that kit when I have 3-4k to spend. Also for the lowering springs, how's the ride? Where can we actually grab a set? I got 20s cv3s vossens on my GS and I need a drop bad. Not doing coilovers cuz I want the driving mode functions too. So if u can give me sum info that would b awesome.
