Update: so I took the gs out yesterday I can tell you I had alot of doubt with the gs but boy was I WRONG. This car amaze the shiet out of me. Taking on m3 and pass them, 135 bmw and a **** load of cars even had people come up to me and ask if it was a v8 I said nope its a v6 and they were shocked. Lexus was not wrong when they said the gs has more then enough power. It really is something else on the track . The gs made me love the car even more now and my next car will be a refreshed gs.
I will post video as soon as I get home, video is ok but i really have to invest in a go pro camera friends cant record videos for nothing.

I think I read a comment that the 2GR-FSE engine in the GS loves to rev which means it sacrifices some low-end torque but really starts to shine when you wring out the engine.
That's probably why many non-professional test reviewers claim that the GS350 is less powerful than the BMW 535i. Most test reviews take place in a mix of city and highway where both engines are nowhere maxed out but where the low-end torque of the turbo 3.0L BMW engine makes it SEEM more powerful.
But in objective 0-60mph and especially 1/4 mile timed tests, the GS350 is actually faster than the 535i. Examples : Motortrend comparo.
Seems like the drivetrain of the GS is more track oriented while that of the 5 series is more towards city driving.
That's my hypothesis anyway. It would be interesting to take an M-Sport 535i out on the same track and make a subjective + timed comparison.

How did the brakes feel? Was there any fade and did the brake fluid boil or come close to it?
