Default My new 4GS F painted and modified

My friend and I spent all weekend painting my car. I was going to get everything done but instead we decided to turn it into a project. We went out and got a bunch of plasta dip and had a blast. I did the front grill, the chrome bar around it, the bar on the front part of the car, the rims, the chrome bar on the back, the spoiler, the Lexus emblem and the gs 350 all in black. The car actually looks great. I am very pleased! It makes my car stand out that much more amongst all the cars in south Florida. It was a really fun project and turned out great it took one weekend but it was well worth it. The car is very noticeable and already had people complement me on how great it looks. The car looks much more unique and I love it. I'm attaching photos of the process and how it turned out.

Not really a fan is plasti-dip on such a nice car but it accents the car well. The only real issue with plasti-dipping the wheels is that if you don't lay it on thick enough, it won't peel off. I have heard of horror stories where laquer thiner won't even take it off.

Nonetheless, looks nice, now wash that bucket!

Yah I figured for something temporary it would be alright and actually came out looking good. I know what you mean with te wheels I did it on my previous car and learned my lesson lol. I wanted to paint the car but didn't want to commit to it forever and being a lease I couldn't really do that.

Looks like you dipped your rotors and calipers also? You're a brave soul... Not a bad job at all.

Looks good, but just be careful on the wheels, watch out for the pealing off.

I think it looks very nice or rather mean and badass. Did you have to remove the front bumper to remove the upper grille and chrome?

Thanks. and no I did not have to remove the front bumper to get the grill and chrome out just a few screws from the inside.
