I just tried putting my MTB without the front tire in the trunk and it didn't fit. I have an F-Sport so I'm SOL with the trailer hitch.

Here's the link they gave me:

Not sure why they don't have one for the FSport.

Got it done. It's not easy. The holes do not perfectly align, either. Had to grind 2 holes an additional 1/16 - 3/32 of an inch larger, in order for the bolts to fit back in. I'll notify the manufacturer of this issue. The problem I was most concerned about, was my biggest problem. Getting the plastic body section re-assembled. It's difficult to snap the part where it bends from side to rear. Other than these 2 issues, the rest is pretty straight-forward. The instructions from Curt are pretty good. Haven't attached the bike rack yet. Ran out of time, but it looks good. I have a Yakima rack, which allows me to easily open the trunk, when it's attached. The bikes are far enough behind the car, where I won't have to worry about scratches. I think this new design is much better than the design for the older GS's. Seems very sturdy.

Couple more pictures, with the Bike Rack.
The backup camera and sensors don't like the bike rack, but have to make some compromises during the summer

Why would anyone even think about transporting a bike (or two) on a Lexus sports sedan? I cringe at the mere idea of doing something like that. That's what my 2012 GMC Acadia Denali with the trailer hitch and Thule bike rack is for.

If I couldn't afford a proper second car, I would literally refuse to transport a bike anywhere if the only way to do it was on my Lexus.

What a horrible visual: A bike a rack on a Benz, BMW, or Lexus.

LATE NOTE: Oops, just saw the photos above my post. OMG!! That's like sacrilegious or something worse! Take that thing off and get a second car, please! UGH!

I have better things to do with my money than to spend another $40K on a vehicle to haul bikes with. That would be wasteful.

Don't you have a wife or girlfriend? Make her car the bike hauler. That's what I do. When I buy a car for my wife, I make sure it is the one that comes from the factory with the trailer hitch installed. Just in case, I kept my Acura SUV as backup hauler, instead of trading it in. No racks are getting anywhere near my Lexus. The Lexus only moves or transports one thing: me.

My Lexus transports me and my toys. When I want to play with my toys, I don't want to wait for my wife to come home. Maybe I'll put a snow plow in front this winter

How about an attachment for picking up golf ***** on the practice range? We could use some good photoshopping skills, so we could get a preview before doing all this work

Default 2014 GS Roof Rack

Just got a 2014 GS 350 AWD and have occasional need for a roof rack (put a Xmas tree on top, etc.) Looking for suggestions - thanks in advance.
