DD has them in stock... repels dirt very well, can't do a dirt test because it's on the whole car now... wasn't thinking. the car has been driven in the rain the last 2 days, there's very minimal dirt/dust on the hood. (last pic)

can you use this with hardbody and what would be the advantage I know hardbody does a great job of repeling water also

yes you can apply over HB. it would be extra protection, although i feel that this Sonax Net Shield is better at repelling water and dirt. i applied it over 22PLE so there is a + to applying it over any coating. get your can today.

When it dries, does it leave hard water spots as easily as down here in Texas we have lots of hard water. Would be nice to have something to help alleviate sprinklers and such. Any thoughts.

Also, if I'm using 3M products for wax and glaze, I'm assuming this will go on just fine over that by hand as well. Can't really find any videos showing how easy it applies and comes off. So my assumption is spray it on the rag and then wipe off shortly after.

i have not seen 1 water spot. the last pic of the hood has a dried portion, maybe the water sheeted off the car or dried naturally but it did not leave water spots. you can apply it over whatever protection you have on the car, and yes, you can apply it by hand with a foam applicator pad. spray it on the foam pad or on the car. i spray it on the applicator to avoid overspray. apply in straight line motion (small sections at a time) DO NOT LET IT DRY because it will become tacky and a little finicky to remove. it's easy, you can do the car in 30 minutes.

Great thanks. So it's literally a wipe it on one panel and right back off at a time thing. Basically like a wax but it seeps into the pools of the paint and it's immediately sealed.

The dirt resistance also is intriguing. Does it protect against hairline scratches at all?

i would do half a panel at a time... the trick is not to let it dry, so i do half a panel and wipe off. it repels dirt, not all but where you would see alot of dust and dirt... with the sonax it cuts it in half... you won't see as much. and it will not protect against hairline scratches (clear coat scratches). you still have to wash the car with care.

Good to know.

I've used the 3M wax and polish products before with good results. This might be a good final coat to put on then.

Need to see if O'Reilly can get this stuff in locally.

There is something about our TX water - UGH! I had taken this picture after driving in the rain (over 4 months after applying Collinite 845 - it lasted me thru' winter, and still has pretty good protection). Unfortunately, I was in a rush, and couldn't wipe the water off with a MF towel.

As expected, I found some water spots (not too bad, but I could notice it) when I looked at it in the afternoon.
