Question 2013 F Sport Tires What Did Your Car Come With?

I see the OEM F Sports RWD tires are either Dunlop Maxx Super Sports or Bridgestone Potenza 050's according to the Tire Rack...we have the 050's now on my wife's IS and they are quite good. I have the Dunlop's on my XKR and they are good but not Michelin Pilot's.

What did yours come with and what are the majority of RWD GS F Sports coming with these days?

Thanks

Looks like Bridgestone's are the minority so far...the Dunlop's on my Jaguar are very noisy and have been from new

What is the production date of your cars? Curious to see if the trend lately from Lex has been to the Dunlop's from Bridgestone's.. Any issues with flat spotting or sterring wheel shimmies?

Thanks

My GS fsport came with the junk Bridgestone el400-02 all season tires since its a awd but I have michelins right now they they worlds better. The Bridgestone flat spot overnight causing steering wheel and body vibration when warming up.

I have bridgestone turanza's, looking to upgrade them to Michelin, but I'm hoping for something better.

When was your car produced? You'll love the Pilot Sports

Yup Michelins rock...

Rhose 400 stone's have a terrible rep but the 050's are super sticky and very good tires.

Dec. 2012, I thought they didn't have the pilot sports for our car yet, those are what I'm waiting for.

Good to hear, maybe the OEM Lexus version has been tweaked.

FYI few people know that the same sized Maxx's vs Pilot Super Sports are about 3 lbs heavier per tire and has a noticeable effect on handling.

They do have several Michelins available in size 245/40/19. Forget 235/40/19 which are not the right size and too narrow for these rims. The 245/40/19 is with only 1% odometer error and is within tolerance and can be put on this car without alignment issues. I did that with mines and I am happy. Here are the list of Michelins in that size with the Pilot Sport included. Some people like me already went with the 245/40/19 with no issues. You will not get much good choices for 235/40/19

Thanks, was wondering why they used such a narrow tire.

Mine was built nov 12 and came with Bridgestone 050. They are ok, a bit better with some miles on them. Will be switching to Michelin Pilot Super Sports, they are great tires. Less noise, more grip, longer lasting, no more expensive, a no brainier IMO.

Thanks for the info. If we go with the GS we are hoping for the B-stones...
