Lol they keep recommending a 5 series diesel instead. Sure, if you want a luxury car that sounds like a milk truck, vs the GS450h which is dead silent at idle.

They also made the point that the BMW 535d had more hp which is BS. That is only true if comparing engine hp not total hp. Completely misleading to viewers who are not otherwise clued in as us.

I was close to choose the 450h. But I have this thing stock in my mind called AWD...
I'm curious: Did anyone compare the Gs350 with the gs450h and why did you end up with the 350?

I like the idea of the hybrid (performance wise) and I think it could be my next car... but only if Lexus treats us as the Europeans- meaning: power trunk, power side mirrors, linear espresso, front seat controller from back passenger side... And please mr. Lexus, do not forget modern led lights all around.

Thank you.

I never considered the hybrid. I've had a hybrid and I don't like how they drive, don't like the CVT, don't like the weird noises...

Truthfully, I never drove one and the reason I'm attracted is the extra power with a greener footprint. But if it's true there are weird noises, than, its another mountain to climb for me...

You should drive one for yourself and see what you think...

I haven't driven a hybrid but I've driven a CVT and I hated it sadly. The engine just droned along while the engine accelerated and it had that rubber feel which was weird to me. Idk I guess I'm just not used to it....

Some contrasting views on how the GS hybrid drives :

Seems like the GS hybrid drivetrain is unlike traditional CVTs.

BTW, the red GS450h F-Sport is beautiful.

I chose to go with the 350 F-Sport mainly because the 450h didn't have the F-Sport package, I would have gone with a 450h if it was an F-Sport. Also seems the hybrid market isn't doing to well in our area so they don't sell as much cause it's RWD, compared to the Prius which I see everywhere which wouldn't help in reselling. I would love a GS 450h F-Sport and probably if they came out without before a GS-F I would probably jump on it.
