Lets not sleep on a kia for 30k I had an sx and it was loaded and I had ppl yell out on the parkway asking me what kind of car it was lol. I had ppl ask me everyday and compliment me on the car not once yet on the lexus lol maybe my parents and friends. Not comparing kia to the lexus so don't get carried away but I'd rather drive the kia optima over half the cars out there.

i just don't give a ****...most people who make the "toyota" comment either:
a. don't understand the ownership and branches of large automotive conglomorates
b. can't afford one in the first place.
i get the same thing with my harley."you could have paid less and gotten something nicer", yes i've heard that arguement for years but resale value and furthermore customization - nothing compares.

People who dis Toyota have a envy issue. Very little
maintenance issues, longevity, are things, at least I
can't get in BMW. The nagging fear of an expensive
breakdown or quirkey, unexplained issue is just not
prevalent in Toyotas. No matter my age, I have
looked for that since I was a teenager.
It used to be you had to by German for staus. Look at the LFA,
and the engineering raining down to the daily drivers.
This is something to envy. And its hard to accept that
you don't have to buy a 'status' car to get it.
