I believe the 4GS use a new relay circuit board that built in behind the odo meter and a buzzer to making the clicking noise so it won't changeable. This due to the new lane change signal stick.

If you want LED for your turn signal then the only option to fix the hyper flashing is using the load resistor. It a bit bulky but I did mount it in the rear quarter panel using double side heavy duty tape and completely cover hidden by the trunk liner. Very safe, secure and no heat issue.

You did this for the front and the back?

I did put 1 load resistor on each side (L+R) and it cure the hyper flash for both front and rear LED.

You only need 2 load resistor. 1 for left side 1 for right side.

You can tap it either front or back. But I tap to the back because there are more room to mount it than the front. Make sure you get the correct ohm load resistor. (3ohm 50 watts)

I ordered the 50W 6 Ohm LED Load Resistors for LED Turn Signal Lights. This was all they had and they said it will be fine. Will this work too? On my g35 coupe any load resisters worked. Pretty sure it was same as the ones I ordered

I think it will work too although I didn't try before. 3ohm 50w resistor pretty much stock everywhere (ebay, v-leds....)

if anyone has different info, please chime in. I'd rather replace the relay than do the load resistor. @oneexcite... any heating issues yet on those resistors?

The only time I see heat issue if you are stranded and have to leave the emergency flasher on for a long period of time. Even then, it's intermittent.

I still have the load resistor and have no heat issue so far. I didn't leave my signal long enough. I leave it on before for 15-20 minutes and the resistor itself really hot to touch but the surrounding area just a bit warm.

The new V3 Triton gen2 had built in resistor so no need for external resistor. Another member here axiom00 just installed the gen2 and confirm it work without resistor.

Yep I used the ijdmtoy load resistor wiring, which cancels out the hyper flash. This does not require you splice any wires.

100% correct. Gen 2 Triton V3 don't need load resistor as it is built into the control module. I'll be putting a guide shortly for those interested..

What do you think about the v3?
