So now with the TSB available, Lexus would not have to replicate the brake noise in order to service the brakes right?

Correct.........

Your service rep may not be aware of the L-SB yet so have the number with you when you call.

Hey guys,

Is there a definitive place to go to find these service bulletins? My dealership is likely to call BS on me for a lot of these. In my experience I've found that only a small number of dealerships are forthcoming with letting you know about the bulletin and doing the work.

Thanks! But the bulletin in this post isn't in there. Does it take a while to show up?

My brakes started to squeak just last week. I had just took it in for the 5k oil change. I started doing it a few days before but I thought it was the other cars around me. But now I know it's definitely me. I squeaks when I come to a stop, usually less than 20mph.

Like I said, it was only JUST released so it will likely not be in the data bases yet.
Trust me, it is there or they would not have it listed on my service order.

They don't change the oil during the 5,000 mile service.
