Replacing the top grille with the F-Sport Grille
#54
I have an appointment to have grilles changed out on Monday, I don't think its worth the $1000 bucks to change the bumper it really isn't that much different. pics to follow

For me it will cost me only 230$ to change the bumper because my current bumper need to painted at insurance cost with changing the grill so instead of painting my current bumper i can tell them to paint the new bumper so does it worth to pay this amount or not ?!

I just did this because something hit my front grille and broke it. The top grille fits fine and is very easy to change. The bottom grille does require that you remove a few plastic tabs that are on the bottom of the grille. Once you remove the existing grille you will easily see these tabs. The corners are a little different on these grilles, but it is hard to notice. If you are ordering the parts, the dealerships will give you a hard time and tell you the parts won't fit. Find a VIN from an F sport that is online for sale and use that. It will save you a lot of headaches in dealing with the dealerships that either don't know that the top grille will fit or they are just trying to discourage you from doing it. They are correct in saying the bottom one doesn't fit, but you can make slight modifications and it will be fine.

Looks good. The only thing I don't like is the chrome surround on the fogs. It accentuates it too much. Other than that, I think it looks better than the F sport bumper. Needs a lip though. LOL

I think changing the top grille only would be better, cause the fog's little grille are slats, so it'll match the bottom one if u leave it slats too. Plus the bottom slats grille looks like a giant intercooler from far away. Did SW ever get this done?
