I have a question about the ML is the GS, does it rattle when you listen to music that has heavy bass(rap, reggae)? I know my ML system in RX doesn't rattle but I also my cousins '09 GS with ML rattles like there is no tomorrow... So what I basically want to know is: does rattle like a ciciv with cheap sub woofer that puts out oodles of bass or it is clear and doesn't rattle.???

I have luxury model with ML and the only rattle I have is in my driver's door, nothing else. I assume the FSport models will have a similar problem

I have ML in my F-Sport and I have no rattling whatsoever. I'm no audiophile but the bass IMO is clear without any distortion with just about every genre i've listened to (rap, pop, rock, reggae, etc). The real test for me was playing the movie Avengers at a high volume and it was movie theater quality almost at max without any rattling.

It's probably your gas cap rattling. It rattles when listening to something with heavy bass, especially if you have an aftermarket sub installed.

Funny I got just a reggae mix CD and we played it Saturday night on the way to a bday gathering nothing was rattling the system is as clear at 10 as 50

Now I will say some songs just have TOO much bass, I don't think it matters what system.

i have an F Sport with ML and the piano black piece that fits over the driver side window and door buttons rattles. i had lexus insulate it with the anti-rattle kit they use and it still rattles, but not like before. mind you it only rattles at certain bass frequencies (depends on what i'm playing). and only when i use BT streaming. if the SAT or FM channel is on i get no rattle, no matter how loud i bump the music.

Exactly my situation! door rattled bad with certain bass frequencies like Drake "Motto" Lexus insulated and it is not totally gone but way way better.

No rattles in my GS F Sport with ML. I have my Bass turned 2 clicks away from the max and listen to every kind of music. I find the bass crisp and clear.
