nice... the exhaust sounds a little raspy for that 4GS, sounds like an exhaust for a smaller sportier car.. like the CV7s finish with the obsidian, and the drop.

It's actually Fire Agate Pearl

PPE Race Headers + Meisterchaft GTC Exhaust System with valves, it's a bit quiet with the valves closed.. the numbers didn't show up - dyno wasn't reading correctly.

that's FAP? looks like you have a chameleon on your hands. i would have bet my car that it was obsidian. you really did do a good job with her though.

Thanks!

I don't daily drive it at the moment so the race headers don't bother me but eventually I plan on replacing them with another set of PPE Engineering headers with high flow CAT's

These were just a prototype set for SEMA the setup sound's amazing... it's almost impossible to capture the sound correctly with a camera but those who have heard it in person will tell you - it sounds like the car has a V10 at mid range it has this perfect pitch while pulling 1st - 3rd gears

Lexus of Pembroke Pines, right? I used to live in Towngate right across the road. Bought a couple of cars from them.

WOW, All I heard was rasp... Im sure this is the prototype and the end result will be a more modified tone; hopefully a lot throatier.

+1. Didn't like how it sounded at all.

The raspy noise are the headers. its not the exhaust. most likely the exhaust system is missing a couple of resonators and cat to drone out the noise. upgrading the headers will make that noise on an N/A car. its actually worst on a 4 cylinder car.

The rasp is due to the absence of catalytic converters and resonators.

Race Headers + Free Flowing Pipes with an X-Pipe in between. (cut out valve was open during those pulls)

I'll be swapping the headers back to OEM for another video, and then to a set of PPE headers with High Flow Cats

That is correct

I LUV all the mods you did; however, the exhaust was a bit raspy. A deep throatier exhaust tone is much needed.

Man I wish I knew this meet was going on! Cool to know people are from the Pines area on here lol. I bought my 4GS from Lexus of Pembroke Pines and live down the street from the dealership. I would have loved to see this car in person.
