Funny I'm in my 50's and I'm on this forum all the time. I parked next to an Obsidian GS-F Sport in the parking lot of my gym today. It was sitting away from other cars, face-out, and I thought it would be cool to park next to it, also face-out. Just as I was going up the stairs I saw the guy walking to his car. He couldn't be over 30 and he apparently never posts here because I haven't seen a "was that your LP F-Sport in the parking lot" thread and I never got a response to my "was that your Obsidian GS F-Sport on Mockingbird and Greenville" thread a few weeks back. He's clearly not on here.

So much for the theory about the disparity of ages using the internet. Although maybe he just tweeted that another GS F-Sport was parked next to his and since I'm old and don't Twitter I missed it.

Nice, job well done and thanks for sharing! I'm sure more than just a few people here were curious. In the spirit of sharing, I'm an engineer / software consultant.

Thanks for sharing guys. I too think "What do you do?" is a good question to go along with "How old are you."

So in the same spirit: Full disclosure - I don't YET own a GS, but plan to in the very near future. Been lurking on these pages long enough and just have to wait for our newborn to get a little older before I pull the trigger (with dual carseats).

Oh, and I'm a concept development manager in the aerospace industry. LOVE my job.

As a parent of a young child, maybe I can sway your decision on colour. I got a red one, and my toddler (just over two) can't stop saying "Daddy car RED!" and he grabs any toy red cars, brings them up to me and says "Tyler car RED!".

Maybe he'd do it for other colours too, but I have a feeling it wouldn't be the same if it was black or white.

Congrats on the new one and good luck with your purchase! We have our second coming in January and the car will definitely suit the family better than our EX35 which barely fits a car seat.

#1 son's first word was "car" so I feel you.

Enjoy their first words. They'll come a time when all you will hear is 'keys'.

Cool thread. 22 y/o here. Came from a '95 e36. It was such a great car to throw around the corners.
