Default Lower chrome molding from Dawn Enterprises - Anyone have this? (w/wheel pics)

I'm curious if anyone had this installed by their dealer. The dealer in our area has a little flyer they've sent out advertising things like this, and other accessories.

I like the clean sides of our new GS, but this does add an interesting look to the car. Looks fairly clean, and easy to install. My concern is that since I will eventually get the F-Sport 19's full face wheels, the chrome molding would look out of place. I have a Nebula grey, and the wheels would match very well, especially with thte side of the car the way it is.

if that's your style then go for it. do you have an F-Sport? if so,, then i don't think it will flow with the sporty look of the F-Sport. then again i could be wrong. get someone in the photoshop forum to photoshop it for you, with the full face F-Sport wheels.

Photoshop the F-Sport wheels on the above photo and see how it looks?

Yeah, that's a good idea. My car looks exactly like the one in the pic minus the molding. I didn't go with the F-sport because of the options I wanted. I am going to lower a little and add those wheels I mentioned.

I'll see what I can find for pics of those wheels that can photochopped into that image. I'm not the greatest photo editor, and can barely use Paint.Net (open source Photo Shop-like tool). Thanks for the feedback.

Here's a pic of what I'm really going for, and as you can see, I don't think the molding works:

your car will look sic with those wheels without the molding. i'm actually looking at these wheels for my F-Sport, or the Vossen CV5s.

Those 19 F-Sport wheels look great with Nebula Gray. And yes, the molding is overkill IMO.

However, digital photos and real life may look very different....

Thanks for the replies.

I like the molding if I were to keep the car as-is with my original wheels. I've seen both white and silver GS's with the luxury package and those stock wheels with the chrome molding. It looks very good once you see that molding in real life.

I've decided to not install the molding because I am committing to the F-Sport full face wheels. Those wheels change the look completely, and the color match will look great, I hope. The chrome seems out of place with what I want to do.

The chrome molding is nice and looks good in your picture. And reminds me of the LS a bit (although not quite as clean in its integration)

But I don't think it's a fit for the F-Sport. It's more luxury than sport.
