Changing Cabin Air Filter
I don't need to change my filter yet but found a few possible "gotchas" that might be a consideration. On earlier model GS, i read that not putting the AC in a "recirculation" mode before filter removal can result in $1000+ in damage. I see also I have glove box shelving that impedes my ability to pull the filter out. Any insights?

It is a good idea to put in recirculation mode to help prevent any debrit from moving into the "clean" area. Of course you also want to make sure everything is off. Polutants collecting on the AC coils are the main reason for the musty smell.
