no incredibly enough the trunk is very sound, the only rattle i get is thru the armrest where i have it ported, and thats only when the armrest is up. It was installed by a shop, they did a great job with the custom box. The only other small rattle is from the lic plate, where i might put some dynomat on the back of that.

inspiration:thumb up: no rattle in your doors???? there is a license plate frame by Dynamat that will null those rattles. they're not expensive.

the bass in the doors isnt deep enough to rattle, they just put out louder mid high bass until the subs kick in. i just use dynamat or even a cork sheet applied to the back of the plate, didnt know they made a special plate holder. with my old set up i had huge trunk rattle and the car was dynamatted. i had a ported box that was facing the back of the trunk it even rattled my shocks and gas tank,lol. we went with a sealed box with the speakers facing front wards and the bass ported thru the armrest. you need more power to get them to come to life but dam when they hit its solid and smooth.
