Pretty happy with the clean and seamless look of the wireless S3 in conjuction with the Blendmount. No more annoying suction cups on the window.
Here's another angle of the radar and mount.
Here's one with my custom start up pic of my girl Scarlett Johansson

Very nice! I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on S3 for sometime now. How is the performance? How long the batteries last? I guess it depends on usage. Is it easy to change the batteries after mounting?

They say that the S3 is not as sensitive compared to it's wired counterparts. For me, the S3 is more than sufficient because I do not get tickets to begin with and do not really speed that often. I really just want to know when I'm about to come up on a speed trap. I also like the ability to quickly remove the radar to store or use it in another car. Last night I was on the local tollway and Ka band went off about a good 1.5 to 2 miles before I spotted the state trooper parked on the shoulder. I was pretty happy about that. I don't seem to get that many false alerts either. Battery is really easy to replace. I would recommend removing from mount or windhield for easier replacement. Other's will say otherwise but I am pretty happy with the overal performance of the S3. Hope this helps. ~Tu

I have never ever seen (or heard of) that happening (unless they were trying to find a reason to pull somebody over for a search - and just needed a reason). (yes, I agree - it is wrong...)
Ugh... they must have had end of the month numbers' to meet

Are they easy to remove. I would be worried about someone breaking into my car thinking there was a detector to steal when they see the device installed. I work in a bad area

It's very easy to remove the detector in a couple of seconds. I don't have one because I'm still waiting on my ordered GS. Look it up on google and you can see how it works. My only concern is will it be so low it gets in the way. Sounds like that's not the case.

I just put my S3 on yesterday.. Does it go off often? After driving about 30 miles today (mostly highway), mine went off about a handful of times. I'm gonna see if I can get a police relative to purposely clock me to see if it's working, and by how far. Or I can always go the easy route and go past one of those standalone speed limit checkpoints.

Cordless will never be as sensitive as hard wired detectors. Wireless however fits my lifestyle better for now. I might switch over to the 9100 one of these days.
