The only difference with an F Sport is the front bumper.

The wind and road(even with michelin tires) noise is just too loud.
Lower body right out from factory.
More aggressive wheels offset. Maybe offer optional 20" wheels?
More aggressive exhaust note and more power for F sport model.

The wheel and fender gap on gs awd seems larger than suv I have and it bothers me whenever i glance at it. What a eye sore.
Also does this car not turn on head light automatically when it senses it is raining by wiper operation?
Wind noise at high speed, i just know i am not keeping this car after lease unless there is fix for this wind noise. At speed, although stable, it makes the car feel cheap and light.
I think lexus did a good job with this GS, but i do think it still has ways to go in order to really compare againt german rivals. Kinda like the first IS againt 3 series, very good but not quite there yet. Very good alternative but not a competition. Take away the reliability, cheaper price, compare it pound per pound, just not quite there yet.
It's big marketing about million mile test drive, other german rivals usually do millions.
But i do still love driving this car. I loved my bmws and mbs after many tens of thousand miles. I have 1000 mile on gs now. Will see if this love continues after many tens of thousands.

I have never heard of this feature at all. IMO it really would be a pain to have the headlights come on constantly. Rain does not automatically mean darkness here in the south. Rain is often accompanied by sun.

The ES just isn't the same status symbol as the GS is.
Out of all of my complaints the three things I despise the most are - it doesn't grip the road enough, maybe the F Sport does it better but I didn't test drive either.
The wind noise that is so annoying, that's not supposed to happen with a luxury vehicle.
Sunglass holder - how do you not add a sun glass holder isnt that like interior 101. 1 steering wheel, 2 seats, 3 sun glass compartment lol

Although it is a Sports Sedan, coming from a 2000 GS 300 "sport sedan" there is some room for Touring features. I would give up some handling for softer ride, quieter cabin. Let's be clear, I have no complaints about the 2014 GS 350 AWD w/Luxury Pkg, BSM, Park Assist, Trunk. Nice to haves would have been birds eye view park assist, better gas mileage, 1 and 8 above. Great and fun car. I will replace the Dunlops with Michelins when time comes, hopefully that improves the ride.

Actually i am thinking of tail lights. Some states give ticket for not turning on head light in bad weather, i wonder led light in front is enough.
On other cars, even new nissan altima, lights dont turn on as soon as auto wipers are on. More like after auto wiper on, and makes a few swipes, then turns on. By the time when you think, maybe i should turn on lights so other cars behind me can see my car better, lights get turned on without you having to intervine, thus auto light.
Put it this way, on other car, once i set lights on auto, i never had to think about lights, weather, driving through tunnel.

I thought it was very bad for the HID lights to keep turning on/off. Auto headlights with wipers may decrease the life of the very expensive HID bulbs. Now once they start installing LED headlights standard in all cars, then sure, why not.

Actually 9 out of 10 people absolutely would never know your GS isn's an ES or that someone else's ES is not a GS. Why would you buy a vehicle that has attributes you don't want simply to impress other people? If you want a smoother, quieter vehicle you should have bought an ES. If you don't like the intake sound you can always replace the intake tube with the one from the 3GS which deletes the sound generator.
If you wanted a status symbol you should have bought a 5 series or E Class.
I will say, that I came from 10 years of driving the ES, and according to all reports my 2010 ES was smoother and quieter than the new ES. I think my GS is just as quiet and smoother and more refined on the road (the right term is more solid), although its obviously more firmly sprung and you feel that at low speeds over manhole covers, etc. Mine has no wind noise...
What are your tires aired to? Air them to 31PSI. Anybody who is unhappy with the ride do that, I think mine rides great.
One thing I'm noticing as we have more 2014 owners coming in and posting the sorts of things we all posted when we got our 2014s...I've seen more than a couple 2014 owners that seem to have issues with ride and noise. That was something that was really never said back when we were all getting our 2013s. None of the many reviews posted and YouTube ride along reviews etc every mentioned issues with ride or noise.
Could there be some change in the 2014s that we're not aware of that would cause this?
