Default Has anyone else noticed the one design glitch?

During certain times of the day, the glare of the aluminum trim shows in the driver outside mirror and makes it really hard to see anything else in the mirror. That's the only glitch I've found in this otherwise-perfect car. I think it is the angle of the dash and the placement of the mirror, so the shiny wood would probably have the same effect.

I had the same problem driving home in the afternoon the other day. The glare from the aluminum trim make it very difficult to see anything on the driver side mirror. Does anyone have a fix?

i posted this in Feb. i don't think it got many replies. i don't think there is anything you can do about it. do you think the tint is a factor?

Hmmm, could be. I didn't notice it on the loaner car I had, but it had the flat wood. I'll put up with it because I'm not givin up my aluminum and my tint without a fight!

I got another design glitch for you guys. This one is software.

Notice that the "track/preset down" button goes in a different direction depending on whether you're cycling through audio tracks on your iPod or through presets?

Down: Radio preset goes from 1 to 2, 3, etc.
Down: Track on my iPod goes from track 3 to 2, to 1, etc.

I thought I was going crazy. I prefer "down" to go to the next number. So it's counter-intuitive when playing songs from my iPod.

EDITED MY ORIGINAL POST, I HAD MISREAD JTRUE28

jtrue28: That's what mine does too. But isn't it counter-intuitive that UP goes to the next track, but DOWN goes to the next preset station?

I'll have to check it out. I rarely use the radio/XM/CD player. My iphone automatically connects thru bluetooth, so I just have a playlist setup and it automatically starts playing once it connects.

Yes, I agree it's counter intuitive. Up should go to next "whatever". I believe Lexus chose down for the presets because that's how it appears on the display. That is, the next preset is displayed below the current one, thus the down button. I think it was a wrong choice.

Yes, I agree with this explanation. Makes sense to me.

I did notice this, but also happens in my CT as well.
