For guys and gals who carry.
I carry a Glock 19 and usully when I get into the car I would put it in the glove box. Seems like the GS 350 glove box is pretty confined and even more so with that Bible of an instruction manual that sits in it. I tried putting the Glock in there but there just doesn't seem to be enough room. I either have to take the manual and the little bracket out or I just end up putting the pistol down in the center console. Seems like when you close the glove box it closes down the space even more I like the pistol to be in the glove box because it is a lot quicker access then stumbling through that center console. I might have to switch over to my .357 3'' snub nose revolver which is a lot more compact but I only have 5 rounds vs 15 Have any of you guys found a better solution? TIA ~Tu

Hmm really? I've always had mine in the car. Maybe I can move it back to the trunk and find it a space since there is so much room back there. If not, I will keep it at home like you do. I've never owned a car with this thick of a user manual before

+1 on the trunk comment. My manual case hsa a bit of velcro, and the dealer told me to put it in the trunk. I moved it back to the glove box since I like reading it while my son is napping and I'm at my destination. Will move it to the trunk soon.

I'm not sure and it could be the angle of the picture but the firearm is pretty visible in this picture. In Texas, the firearm (hand gun) can not be physically visible when stowed in an automobile. If an officer walks up to the driver window would he be able to see that? If it was not for that law, I think you have a pretty nice setup. Nice to have it by your side like that.

Pistols, revolvers, and all other hand guns must be concealed even with a CHL. Rifles and shotguns however do not need to be concealed with in your car. It goes way back to the old west. Texas believes and follow more of the "gentlemans" etiquette when it comes to carrying guns. Don't expose the gun unless neccessary. That is why our state still have not passed the open carry law yet and others have. I like it this way better since the bad guys don't have a clue as to who is packing heat plus if they see you with a gun, you will be more than likely the one they will target first.

You could always keep it holstered on the driver side door pocket while driving, that would be quicker access than the glove. I think it would be very hard to see even from the passenger window if your sitting in the driver seat.
