i think it's really up to you. but personally i don't see myself flipping through pages in the manuals when i am on the road, ever. if i need to do that, it will be at home. so that's why i always just keep my manuals at home

What is this supposed to mean? Lexus owners have just as much of a right to protect themselves as anybody else.

I have a Taurus PT709 (slim) It fits on the botton of the glovebox in the holster. I used to take it and slide it between my seat and console while driving in my 2008, but with the seat moving I haven't dared try that.

My books have been on the pass side floor, kitchen table, and desk at work. I've only had the car three weeks so I'm still flipping through. I saw a spot on the left side of the trunk that may accomodate the books, havent tried it yet.

I never thought of putting the instruction book in the trunk. Well, now I have my spot to put my firearm. Great post! Just to note that this helped someone 6 years after the OP! Gotta love these forums!

If I am not carrying IWB then I put it in the drivers door pocket. My M&P Shield fits there perfectly and stays concealed when I put a sheet of paper tented over it.
When I am going somewhere I cannot legally carry, I have a small weapon safe in the car to stow it.

When I need to unholster my M&P9 2.0 Compact I put it in the glove box - which fits pretty well. Yea, the manuals stay at home.

When it hits the fan, these perps roll up instantly and unless you're always alert of transitional spaces, have situational awareness and mastered your draw so much that your instincts and reflexes have become muscle memory - good luck having enough time getting to your hiding spots. This stuff happens in a second and done in two.

Here guys, this is where I go
