Default Front license plate braket.....installed from factory?

Does the plate bracket come installed? No way do I want to clutter up the beautiful fron end with a big nasty plate

Yes, I know you can get a ticket for not having a plate. I will pay the $10 and velcro the plate to have the ticket signed off. Been there, done that.

I just got mine Saturday. No front plate.

And I picked it up in Missouri, a state that requires front plates. Kansas does not, so i will be leaving it off.

Lucky! Seeing all the dealers have it installed nearby. Not cool.

unless you order the car before it hits dealership and explicitly ask them to not drill the holes, otherwise during the pdi they will put it on

Mine was not ordered and had been at the dealer for 7 days. I may just have gotten lucky.

When they were delivering my GS, I was chatting with the sale person and I told him I would like no holes drilled for the front plate holder. He had dropped everything and ran toward the service department. It was like 10 seconds before the service guy with the drill in his hand was about to install the holder. I had never seen someone who's around mid 60's running that fast on the slippery show room floor.

Honestly, I think there should be caps from the factory.

The car is in stock and ready for me to pick it up. Now wondering if I should wait for another car to come in. $^$%!

At our dealership, we install the front bracket during delivery. Here in VA the front plates are required but i have learned to ask the customer what they want to do first.

My car was delivered without the front plate bracket. There is a bracket in the trunk.
Like it or not, here in California, the cop may stop you and write you a ticket for not having the front plate.
I will have to put the front plate on within 6 months of the purchase.
The dealership told me they will put the plate on for me for free when it arrives in the mail.

Yes, this is what I've observed. They don't get installed in Michigan, but most cars come with one in the trunk. They install them in Ohio, except in the Toledo area where they ask first because many folks just north of the border in Michigan buy their cars there.
