Default Any brake dust on the F Sport wheels?

Sorry if the question seems stupid, but I have to wash the wheels on my Audi practically every other day. The Germans are known for the brake dust. With past Lexuses, this hasn't been a problem. Assuming it still isn't and that the wheels stay pretty free of brake dust? If so, that wil be a huge positive in trading the Audi for the Lexus.

i have the fsport right now, i wash my car weekly and the brake dust is not too bad in my opinion. you wont notice it on the rim unless you really look at it. but i have been driving the car about 200 miles weekly bc i have a 2nd car to drive around.

Great to hear! My Audi can stay totally clean for a week but the wheels are filthy after two days. My G37 Convertible has very little brake dust. Leave it to the Japanese.

The Premium GS has a slight amount of brake dust after a week...

i can't say anything about the 4gs, but since 2007 brake dust is a pretty big problem on lexus just like euro. most people with 3gs, 4ls, and 2is can tell you that.

not something i complain about though, i rather have good brakes

My 2006 GS had barely any brake dust on my 18 inch 5 spoke rims throughout its ownership. I am disgusted by the amount of brake dust my ML350, BMW 335xi coupe, and A8 makes over a 2 weeks period.

the 06 gs300 has the older generation brakes (pretty much same as the 98-05 gs). the 06 gs430 and cars since then (i think except is250) all have the huge caliper and upgraded brakes and that thing dust pretty bad

You are right. I remember when they revised the brakes on the 2007-onwards GS people were complaining more.

To my knowledge... (Based on the GS / IS - High Performance Brake Pad dusting issues)

For the 4th Gen GS, they have moved on to a MUCH better compound.. Still high performing, but a whole lot LESS brake dusting issues..

So the 4th Gen GS or GS-F-Sport Wheels, will still look clean after 50 miles...

The same will apply on the Next Gen ISx50 and IS-F... For sure..!!!

The COMPLAINTS have been heard & already have been addressed directly with the Japanese Engineers..

if so, then that's totally FANTASTIC!!!! it's always funny when after some driving you get 2 tone wheel setup front and rear

Yeah, the dust on my 2008 was awful until they released the TSB. They had the brakes fixed by the time I got the 2011....no dust at all. My F-Sport dusts a little more than my 2011, but not bad at all. The color of the wheels helps hide any dust that may be there too.
