Maybe it just me but I don't believe any of the PR happy horse crap until I see it myself.

You got to experience it to believe it. Lexus is not going let what happened with 3rd Gen GS and the rattle plague. Kaizen...continuous improvement. Its the foundation of Toyota's philosophy for manufacturing.

in the past few years there has been focus on stopping the rattles that were most prominent in mid 2000's vehicles (Toyota/Lexus)... CTh is very good and so should be GS.

I know many cars have first-year "teething" issues, but I bought one of the first Audi A5's... an '09 A5 S Line... and had no rattles or issues with it. I've since owned two S5 Cabriolets... a '10 and an '11... and have had no rattles or issues with either in almost 10k miles of driving per car. It's actually amazing after being on Audizine for 4 years that no major issues with the A5/S5 have been mentioned.

If Audi can do it, Lexus certainly can.
