Branded with ethanol or unbranded no ethanol
As the debate on both sides goes with branded vs. unbranded gas can go on forever with each and of their own opinion and debate. My question is, if it is better to pump unbranded non ethanol fuel compared to branded gas with 10% ethanol. Around my area dont have any branded gas with no ethanol, so if i want ethanol free gas ill have to pump unbranded gas with 93 octane level. Is it worth the trouble with putting unbranded gas in my new car?

It shouldn't matter if you put branded or generic fuel as long as the fuel doesn't have more than 10% ethanol (per Lexus) blend. There are only a few main suppliers of gasoline to all gas stations. The only difference between brands are the additives in the fuel. All gas stations in the US generic or branded are required to put some kind of detergent or additive in their mix. Some are better than others obviously.
