Tpms(tire pressure monitoring system) f sport
Can anyone confirm if there is only a set (4) ID's that can be programmed into the GS F SPORT...just found out from my Lexus dealer that only one set could...so that means when I revert back to my stock wheels/tires, I need to have them reprogrammed.
My understanding is the there should be two set...
Advise anybody?

I can look in my car if you tell me where to look.

Does the new GS actually show the tire pressure in each tire, or just give a warning when one goes low?
BTW, I've never heard of any car being able to read two different sensors. That would be a new one on me.

Thanks. That is a serious pet peave of mine on my 2010 GS. I will not buy another car without the actual readout. I have literally had to pull off a very busy freeway near downtown Houston because my low pressure warning light came on only to find that my tires all had 30 lbs of air in them. Airing them up to 35 turned the warning off.

Yeah, I looked there, the only thing under the glove box is the HVAC vent, fuse box, and an LED light. I remember where it was in the 3GS, so that's where I looked first. I checked inside the glove box and under the passenger seat.....nothing. I will look throught the owner's manual and see what it says.

Here is a GREAT thread for all you new owners...!!!
"2013 Lexus GS350 and GS450h, What's Under The Skin?" Lexus Media Presentation Video.
Also, TPMS is briefly mentioned in the below video around the 23:45 mark..
(nothing about two sets)

I took an extra long look in the manual, and it doesn't mention anywhere in there about more than one setting for TPMS. The only thing it mentions, is if you get another set of TPMS sensors that you have to register them with the car and that it should be done by a Lexus dealer.

I also got a solid confirmation last night.
The TECHNICAL answer is indeed NO...
The ability to register a "2nd Set of TPMS Sensors" - is NO LONGER available in any of the new 2013 GS models
NOT many previous GS owners utilized that option.
Also, when accidentally switched, the button itself caused more headaches for owners/dealerships than actual benefits..

FYI for All...
My opinion if you plan on doing an aftermaret wheel & tire set up.
Options:
Personally, I would go with option B.. For the pure fact of not "touching" the oem wheels & tires
Joe Z
Options:
- A) Remove current TPMS sensors from OEM wheels and transfer into new wheel setup.
Involves cracking open the oem wheels to retreive them.
- B) Purchase a new set of TMPS sensors and install them on your new wheels & tires.
Involves a trip to the dealership to remove current registered set of ID numbers and replace them with the new set of ID numbers via the Techstream Laptop.
