I've been attempting to estimate the arrival of the first batch of 4GSs at the port. From the posting of the dealer in MD and information from a dealer in ATL, it appears the first batch is on the ship CETUS LEADER.

Current tracking shows the arrival in Balboa, Panama on 17-JAN-2012.

Typically another 4 days to Jacksonville, FL (based upon past port arrival intervals), so we are at 21-JAN-2012. Then another 3 days to Newark port, thus 24-JAN-2012.

I would *guess* the cars start to show up at the dealers within a week after arriving at port and clearing customs.

Again, all just guesses based upon trackers and past port schedules.

I am bored too! So I am glad you are keeping on top of this in the meantime. Keep me and the rest posted! I cannot wait to get my hands on one next month or March. I sold my 2011 BMW 535i xdrive for this one due to some issues I couldn't stand. I had a 2006 Lexus GS prior to it.

Yeah Jacksonvile on the 22nd. I was working on access at the port to get some new arrival pics but I'll be filming for a tv show around that time.
