California Auto Show: 2013 GS 350 AWD - Starfire & Saddle/Black 2 Tone Interior
Here are some good pics of a new 2013 GS AWD in Starfire w/Saddle/Black interior. Very nice color combo!!!

There is a definite yellowish tinge to these shots, we've already seen the saddle interior before and it's not orange:

In this class of car anything silver/metallic is/should be the real deal.

I think they should have extended the piece of wood on the rear door to where the speaker is past the door handle. It looks like it ended too abruptly. I have the same problem on my C class

The center console will almost always be plastic in everything but $100k cars simply because it's way too expensive to make it all metal or wood especially one the size of the GX's. The center console on this GS is also plastic, just matte black (still less of it than in an A6, 5er or Eclass). The silver accents on the dash and door panels though are metal, as is the case with every other car in the segment.

AWD is harder to produce in the factory as well. I remember when the Toyota plant here switched out the Solara to the Venza, there were a lot of issues training the employees how to install the AWD system. It may be much smoother now, but I guarantee it takes more time to produce the AWD versions. /time=money

As to the rest of the class... I know for sure that 2010 A6 had Corolla-like silver plastics all around the interior, including center console. It didnt look or feel like even distant cousin to aluminium.
