New GS 350 F Sport
Just picked ours up yesterday.
Obsidian / Black
GS 350 Premium AWD
Navigation
Blind Spot Monitor (held out an extra month for this)
Intuitive Park Assist (this is fun at the carwash lol)
Trunk Mat, Cargo Net, Wheel Locks, Rear Bumper app
18inch wheels
Cold Weather
Surprised that the F Sport didn't have a hp boost over the norm GS.
And no fog lamps.
Otherwise, love the car. Traded in an '04 SL 500, passed on a 528i & XJ. This may not handle as well, but good enough & the ride is great. Certainly more useful for daily drive.
First Lexus, hoping for 10 - 12 years of enjoyment.

I am new to these forums, though I have been a Lexus driver and enthusiast for five years. I currently hold a reservation on a GS450h, though it will not be available for another month and a half. I'm both excited at the prospect of the car itself and frustrated at the limited availability of the thing; I wonder why Lexus is producing so few GS hybrids given their high profile promotion of the GS redesign, their new direction overall, and their commitment to hybrid power plants. Unless a better choice becomes available, I am looking at the following, hopefully by the end of June:
GS450h, black interior / black exterior
Navigation package
Pre-collision system
Mark Levinson audio system
18" 5-spoke wheel upgrade, superchrome finish
I'm impressed with the options included, particularly the hard-to-find pre-collision system, which I specifically requested, considering that I commute two to three hours at a time after long work shifts. I drink lots of coffee, and I sometimes have to sleep in at work before driving. It's nice to have the extra protection of the driver alertness feature. The Navigation system is a must, but thankfully I have yet to see a GS that doesn't have it. The wheels sound like they'll compliment the look and handling, though they'll probably eat through tires a lot, so that'll raise the cost of ownership. The Mark Levinson audio wasn't specifically on my wish list, but, reading about what it has to offer, I'm not complaining, especially since most of my music listening is on the road. My only gripes are aesthetic: I was wanting the bamboo wood steering wheel and LED headlights included with the Luxury package. That, and I prefer the lighter colored interiors, though the idea of black-on-black did intreague me--it's already got a personality.
Right now, the choices are that one or... well... that one. There aren't any others right now. I could pass and wait to see what else becomes available. They don't appear to be able to take custom orders. Just in case, I'll shop around, but all my research so far corroborates what the dealership tells me, that the GS450h will remain a very limited production model.
Edit: adding what I'm driving now
My current car is an ES350, 2007, ruby red metallic, with navigation system. I've got over 117,000 miles on it in five years. Before that was a 2003 Toyota Celica. I gave up sportiness for comfort due to my long commutes, though the ES has twice the engine power of my old car. The GS will be sportiness coming back with a vengence, but keeping the fuel economy; I've been able to get 31.4 mpg overall average on the ES, throughout its total life to date, mainly by driving sensibly and using cruise control. My wife drives a black RX400h, and I sometimes use it for commutes as well; we got it at the same time as the ES.

1. GS350 F-Sport
2. Starfire Pearl White/Black Interior
3. Nav / No ML
4. RWD
5. No DRS
6. Tinting Windows, Remote start, Lowering springs, Intake, maybe rims and exhaust later on
7. Didn't really pay much attention to anything else. Wasn't even planning on getting a new car. But when this came out, I liked it. Then went to test drive it, and fell in love with it. I love this new GS350. My brother has the older model GS, 2006. So much has been upgraded from that model. Wish i could have gotten everything on it tho, like HUD, DRS, etc. This car replaced my 2003 Mazda 6, what a huge difference. lol.
Also new to the Lexus club. My first Lexus I own but 5th in my family. My dad owned, 1995 LS400, 2006 GS350, 2009 LX570, and now he is currently driving the 2011 LS460L and loves it. My cousin owns an 2008 IS250 and now I joined the Lexus family with my 2013 GS350.
Will have pictures later on.

Recently add a 2013 GS350 F-Sport to my family of Lexus. I've been on this forum for a number of years. Daily driving a 2011 Scion xB, weekend car is the sc430, and this is the family car. Previously drove a 2006 GS300 and many other rice cars....you gotta start somewhere.

The car is my wife's daily driver, so I don't get to drive it much. I did put a good little workout on it yesterday. I found that the tires seem to squeel during more agressive turning. I took it around a 270 degree on ramp yesterday pushing it pretty hard. It was screaching around the turn and the tires held fine but were noisy. With my limited seat time, that is what I've noticed so far.

2013 GS 350 Luxury
1. GS Luxury
2. Nebula Gray / Black Interior
3. Navigation with Mark Levinson
4. RWD
5. No DRS
6. Window Tint
7. Looked at E350, TL SH-AWD, M37, A6, even a Taurus SHO and a Camry Hybrid.
Absolutely loving the 18-way power seats... they are worth the upgrade by themselves!

Since you have to worry about driving while sleepy, why didn't you get the closed eye detector option too? Seems like it was made for guys like you.
I was also happy to find out that Sport + is included as a standard feature of the hybrid GS. With EV and Snow, I'll have a total of six different drive modes, though I'll probably mostly be in Eco and Sport +.

i'm assuming whichever it was you did aftermarket it didn't come like that from the factory?
i hate the chrome accents on the car and my dream GS is going to be the SP with all the chrome accents painted gloss black for a nice black/white contrast color scheme.
tho i have to say the gray accents on the five axis project GS is pretty badass as well.

New Lexus owner (former Acura & BMW owner)
Hey everyone, I am new to this forum. I just took delivery on my first Lexus (well 2nd if you count my wife's 2011 RX350 AWD) on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012. I leased a 2013 GS 350 AWD. It is Starfire Pearl on Black. I recently turned in my 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD and had a 2006 Acura RL AWD, 2004 BMW 525i, and 2002 BMW 325ci before that.
I absolutely love the car so far. I recently had the windows tinted with 20% Llumar FormulaOne ceramic tint by one of the best window tinters out there. His name is Tom Kovach at The Art of Tint, Tint Application Specialists. If you are interested, contact him at 212.869.5800 / 917.685.4792 / theartoftint@aol.com. The tint I had applied to my windows is the best product out there.
I am open to other mods as far as wheels go. I just haven't seen anything that I love just yet. I look forward to reading the forums here to share and receive awesome information about this car. I am posting pics of my new GS here as well.

Nice! Are you in one of the 4 boroughs? Doesnt look like Manhattan. I'm in Brooklyn and SI a lot and I still have not seen a 4GS on the street since it was launched. Wife and I had ours for about 2.5 weeks now.

couldn't wait any longer, the delivery of my car was taking to long. went back to the dealer and switched the gray gs4 with options to the white GS4 F SPORT. waiting for them to do the tints add security, have the premium, cold weather, nav and awd pkg. have to read the window sticker to see what other options it came with. will post 2morrow with more and pics, after i do my own exterior full detail with chemical guys products. also remote start. drove the car home to pick up my brother, went to get my wife from work, used s & s+ mode. the car is sic is all i have to say. lexus did everything right with this one,,,,,,,,except the trunk that flies up when you open it. open the trunk with your hand,,, don't let it go. hold it and open it slowly. tried to post pictures. kept getting upload failed message. lexus tinted my windows, the car is awd.don't know if i'm going to do any mods as of yet . i like it the way it is.
